Landscapes

All of the landscapes I paint are inspired from my travels in North America and Europe, evoking the beauty and personal connection I feel for the environment. The village of Metis-sur-Mer where I summer on the Gaspe Peninsula resonates in particular, both for its geological wonders and the ever-changing weather which can bring great drama to the composition. I also have a deep affection for my native England, having traveled extensively around the British Isles during my childhood and enjoy capturing the magnificent landscapes of the country whenever I return.
