This Jazz Collection of abstract paintings has been inspired by two of my musical heroes pianist Bill Evans and saxophonist, John Coltrane, whose music continues to move and elevate the human spirit. The first time I heard Bill Evans I was transported by his unique style of playing, and his belief that it was the subconscious "Universal Mind" that led all artistic creation. Coltrane's life journey couldn't have been more different from Evans, in that it was his faith and spirituality which brought him to his sublime place of creativity. All of these abstract paintings have been created in this same subconscious state while listening to them play.
