Venice holds a special place in my heart, not only historically as the Renaissance glass capital of the world, but also as the place where I turned sixteen, and would later spend a magical Christmas honeymoon with my wife. Venice is rich in history and culture so visiting at this time when its quieter, evokes the senses as though one is stepping back in time in this city of love and ethereal light.
